Sprinkler Professionals

Settling on a sprinkler system may seem like a straightforward task, but with different water delivery systems and water consumption, it can actually become a bit complicated. Lake Erie Shores Contracting has years of experience handling the installation, reparation and maintenance of residential and commercial sprinkler systems. If you’re in the market for a sprinkler, we’ve got what you need!

Which System is Best For You?

Setting up a good sprinkler system is about more than figuring out where to place each individual unit. Overwatering or under watering will leave you with grass that is either patchy and brown, or soggy and waterlogged, neither of which you want! There are a few important things to consider when you’re trying to settle on which type of system is best for you.

First, you should decide on what it is you’re trying to deliver water to. Is it your lawn? Individual plants in your garden? Shrubs and trees? All of the above? Whatever it is, Lake Erie Shores Contracting's experienced sprinkler technicians have the system for you.

For example, if you’re in the market for a sprinkler system targeted at shrubs or groundcover, we recommend going with a drip system. These systems are known for their low water use thanks to the way the water is delivered, and are ideal for reducing the amount of water that is lost to evaporation, making them perfect for hot, dry summers.

Maybe you’re a traditionalist, in which case an automatic spray system could be the one for you. These systems are typically low-maintenance, and can be set based on a watering schedule that’s suited to your needs and the climate. When properly set-up, an automatic spray system delivers uniform watering patterns, getting rid of those pesky brown spots that often plague lawns. We recommend automatic spray systems for our busier clients, who do enough running around without having to worry about whether or not their lawn will be watered.

Environmentally-conscious Sprinkler Systems

Water-efficient sprinkler systems are becoming more and more important in today’s climate. Lake Erie Shores Contracting is keenly aware of this reality, and has been working hard over the years to provide sprinkler systems that deliver excellent results with minimal water use. We are proud to offer a variety of sprinkler systems that don’t waste water, and are more environmentally-conscious. Ask us about those systems today!

We would also be happy to provide you with some water saving tips and tricks. For example, because of our climate, it makes sense to schedule your sprinkler system to release water in the early morning or evening, when temperatures are cooler. This way, less water is lost to evaporation, meaning you save money and the planet!
